FORMER FLYER STAR SIGNS NHL DEAL - LUCAS CORMIER INKS ENTRY-LEVEL PACT

Vegas Golden Knights General Manager Kelly McCrimmon announced on December 31 that the team has signed defenseman Lukas Cormier to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Cormier, a third-round pick (68th overall) in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, is in his third season with the Charlottetown Islanders of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and owns 21 points (7 G, 14 A) in 13 games. The New Brunswick native currently leads all QMJHL defensemen in points during the 2020-21 season.
